Telephone Advice

We offer a number of telephone appointments with a GP or nurse every day which are triaged in the same manner as requests for face to face appointments.  Please call reception between 8.30 – 11.00 am or between 2-3 pm to request this.

Alternatively, if your issue is not complicated you may wish to leave a message with reception for the GP.  Once the GP has actioned this request someone on the reception team will inform you of the GP response either by telephone or by text message.

Please remember that your receptionist is a highly skilled member of the health care team and may be able to assist you.  Please give her as much information as possible so she can pass this on to the GP or redirect you to someone else who may be able to take your call and assist you or know when to interrupt a GP if you are calling in an emergency.  The reception staff are bound by the same confidentiality legislation as all the health care professionals working in the Health Centre and you can trust them to deal with your information in a professional and trustworthy manner.
